Race, Identity & Alienation in the American Novel

TUESDAY MAY 18, 5:00 p.m.

Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man has continuing--even surging--relevance today. It anticipates the present political moment in which we are grappling with the tension between the founding principles of the United States and the failure to see them applied equitably to all citizens.
