Television icon Rod Serling (The Twilight Zone) won his sixth Emmy for his adaptation of John O’ Hara’s short story “It's Mental Work,” which aired as an installment of Bob Hope Presents the Chrysler Theatre in 1963. The teleplay marked Serling’s triumphant return to the type of hard-edged character dramas that launched his career. Featuring Lee J. Cobb, Gena Rowlands, Harry Guardino and former boxing champion Archie Moore.

This one-time live screening will be followed by a conversation with Anne Serling, author of As I Knew Him: My Dad, Rod Serling, and Television Archivist Mark Quigley.
