The 2nd Annual Armenian Language Workshop at UCLA, organized by Peter Cowe (UCLA) and Hrach Martirosyan (Leiden University)

The workshop features papers by scholars in related fields as well as graduate and upper undergraduate students on areas of research relating to Armenian Studies widely defined including, but not limited to: history, literature, economics, gender studies, sociology, anthropology, art history, musicology, etc. Presenters’ papers will be followed by an equal timeslot for questions and discussion. The event will foreground research in progress rather than finalized studies in order to maximize the benefit of interchange between participants and audience. All the proceedings will be conducted in Armenian in order to advance the cause of scholarly communication in that medium.
