Julie Tolentino

Interdisciplinary Artist Julie Tolentino will present a culminating lecture and Q&A in-person to share more about their work, including movement-based strategies and experimental approaches for recent works such as REPEATER, 2019 and FOREVER YOUNG, 2021. Tolentino will share strategies for collaboration including behind-the-scenes processes for a local, movement-based project LOVE COME QUICK for homeLA and a glass and light installation, ECHO POSITION, 2022, that will be featured in the Whitney Biennial, in collaboration with fellow AIDS activist, Ivy Kwan Arce.
