A beautiful purple and blue dusk landscape of the ocean and it's horizon line.

Mindful Awareness Meditation is the moment-by-moment process of actively and openly observing one’s physical, mental, and emotional experiences.

Mindfulness has scientific support as a means to reduce stress, improve attention, boost the immune system, reduce emotional reactivity, and promote a general sense of health and well-being. These half hour weekly sessions are open to all who are interested in learning how to live more presently. No special clothing is required, and participants are welcome to join for five minutes or enjoy the entire 30 minutes.

Sessions are led by Diana Winston and other instructors from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center.
