Popup Gallery: Lua Kobayashi “Where a Forest Once Grew”

Lua’s work, “Where a Forest Once Grew,” is a love letter to her Grandmother as she shares her life and story of a Japanese-American Nisei through her belongings and memories. It has taken many forms in its development but is taking its final form in this show in lightboxes.

“Where a Forest Once Grew” gallery will be open on weekends from 2-6 pm until February 18 and can also be seen at night, 24 hours a day; if you can only drive by, the work transforms from day to night.
